Bangles

Screw bangles and plain bangles, in sizes 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 and 2.10. The second figure counts sixteenths of an inch, so 2.10 is the largest of the four and not the smallest. The inner diameters are 2.25, 2.375, 2.5 and 2.625 inches.

Floral forms lead the motifs, with Lakshmi, the lotus, the peacock and the elephant through the heavier designs. White stones and kemp carry most of the edit, with mixed stones, pearls and emerald elsewhere. Prices run from about Rs 543 to Rs 1,900.

A screw bangle opens at a hinge and closes on a screw, so it passes the hand without stretching. A plain bangle does not open, which means it has to clear the widest part of the hand, and that is what the size chart on each product page is for. Press your thumb towards the base of your little finger, measure across the widest point, and compare.

Not every design is made in every size. The sizes available appear on the product page, and each size is its own piece rather than an adjustment of another.
