Temple Heritage

Deity and temple motifs, drawn from South Indian temple architecture. Long necklaces and chokers carry most of the edit, with short necklaces and vanki alongside.

Lakshmi appears most often, then the peacock, the elephant and Krishna, with floral forms filling the ground between them. Jadau and pearls are the characteristic settings here, with gold beads and green beads through the older forms. Prices run from about Rs 565 to Rs 26,000.

Jadau is the technique that matters in this edit: stones pressed into the metal by hand rather than held by claws, so the surface sits flush and the stones appear to float. It is slower than a claw setting and it reads differently on the skin.
