1. These terms

This site is operated by Ahankaraka. By placing an order you accept these terms. Please read them before you buy.

2. What we sell

Ahankaraka sells fashion jewellery. Our pieces are hand-finished and are not precious metal. We make no claim as to gold or silver content, purity, carat or hallmark. Kemp, jadau, pearl, cubic zirconia and American Diamond are decorative stones.

Photographs are taken as accurately as we can manage. Colour can vary between screens, and because pieces are hand-finished, small variations between one piece and another are normal and are not faults.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed and paid for.

We do not offer cash on delivery. Payment is taken online before dispatch.

If a price or a product description is shown in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will tell you if this happens.

4. Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We may decline it, for example where a piece has sold out or where we cannot verify the payment or the delivery address. If we decline an order that has been paid for, we refund it in full.

To cancel an order, write to us before it is dispatched and we will cancel and refund it. After dispatch, please use the refund policy.

5. Delivery and returns

Dispatch times, delivery times and shipping charges are set out in our shipping policy. Returns and refunds are set out in our refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

6. Our marks and images

The Ahankaraka name, the seal, the photography and the text on this site belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.

7. Using this site

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, extract data from it by automated means, or use it to break the law. We may withdraw access where that happens.

8. Care and suitability

Our care instructions are on the care page and should be followed. We are not responsible for damage caused by moisture, perfume, chemicals or ordinary wear after delivery. If you know you react to a particular metal, please ask us before ordering.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to it.
