The Ear Edit

Every ornament for the ear in one place: earrings and jhumkas, ear chains, ear cuffs and bugadi.

The peacock leads the motifs, then floral forms, Lakshmi, the lotus and the mango. Pearls and American Diamond carry most of the edit, with kemp and mint green beads through the coloured pieces. Prices run from about Rs 290 to just over Rs 3,000, which makes this the most consistently priced edit in the house.

Each form sits differently. A jhumka hangs from the lobe and moves. An ear cuff grips the outer edge and needs no piercing. Bugadi are worn on the upper ridge. Ear chains run from the ear up into the hair, so the hair carries the weight rather than the lobe, which is what makes the heavier designs wearable for a full day.

This is the edit organised by where a piece is worn rather than by what it depicts or what it is set with.
